Since I was young I enjoyed being creative. I loved drawing, writing books and crafts. I started designing accessories when I was five. I got a knitting machine for Christmas and began knitting leg warmers and fingerless gloves. (It was the eighties) Then I started designing and sewing Barbie clothes. As I got older I tried acrylic painting with the help of a famous PBS show The Joy of Painting staring Bob Ross. (It was very traumatic experience that ended in tears I don't even want to talk about it) I then began to search for the right artistic medium for me. I took Photography and ceramics, I made soap and candles I loved all of them but I felt there was something else out there. Then I found beads. I started with seed beads and collected all the colors my local bead shop had. Then on a trip to the Oregon coast I saw lampwork beads and fell in love with them. I feel I have found my artistic outlet. I love being able to take the images in my head and turning them into a shiny glass object that I can share with others.
